Hello, I'm interested in using mircstats with an Eggdrop but wonder if it will work without the use of mirc. We can run the Eggdrop either on a laptop (OS x 10.6.3 via Terminal) or on the hosting server. Would mircstats work with the log files that the Eggdrop creates/maintains? Or would we have to run it on mirc and base it off of a windows computer? Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.

mIRCStats works fine with native Eggdrop logs (with proper parser configuration file) but there's also this script that you can use to log channels in Eggdrop with properly timestamped mIRC logging format (that matches the default parser configuration file in mIRCStats):

If you need to download logs to your Windows machine before launching mIRCStats, there's some info about this in mIRCstats help file (section "Inside mIRCStats / Ways to automate your stats updates").

So, if I'm using a Macbook I can run mIRCstats in the windows partition and update stats from there as long as I tell mIRC stats to look in the proper directory?

I guess that should work ok.

I already have eggdrop running, and am using mIRCStats, but am looking for panel that update it self with the information for the channel, any idea?
